Caring Hearts is excited to live out their mission of loving and empowering those in need through the love of Christ in Nashville! In 2020, a local sister nonprofit, West Nashville Dream Center, approached Caring Hearts with the purpose of sharing resources to better the lives of a vulnerable population of children in West Nashville. These children lacked the resources to excel in school due to transient lifestyle, and lack of financial ability to provide the basic human right of food.
Every week, around 50 children receive tutoring and homework help, and each Sunday around 40 families receive fresh groceries for free. Throughout all of this, the goal is building trusting relationships that show Christ’s love. We believe that in giving children the opportunity to learn and eat well, it will help them become successful contributing members of our society.
