San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora.- The Good Samaritan Feeding Center offered yesterday, as they do each week, a breakfast to around 200 people, benifitting most of all poor children, who each Saturday go this place to ask for help where they know they will receive it.
That is what Alejandrina Rodriguez let us know, that thanks to the support of one organization (Caring Hearts), each week they can help around 50 families, and when they have more donations, they give out clothes or shoes, according to what they have in the moment at the feeding center.
She declared that in this place some people donate clothes, shoes and all types of needed articles, new and old, but most of all food, with which they prepare the breakfast that they serve.
"It is a great satisfaction to see how from 8 AM to 1 PM, they give food to the boys and girls who come to have breakfast, as well as the father and mother that accompany the children who receive this help," She said.
Alejandrina Rodriguez assured us that all those who want to, can support this work which has been going on for more than 20 years, where many have benefitted, who are poor families that need help from everyone to continue on.
She informed us that the Good Samaritan Feeding Center is located in Jazmin and 28, where folks can take all kinds of donations, even thing they don't use anymore, that are in good shape, so that another person can use them.
