This will be the new location for our news blog from San Luis Mexico. We want to thank Joe Osborn and his Next Gen team for getting this new site developed. We hope you will be a frequent visitor. Please check weekly to see news of what God is doing at Caring Hearts.
Right now we are in the midst of a busy month, with three groups in a row. We are working now with our second group from St. Ferdinand's in Cranberry PA. They are doing some construction and working with the Bethel School. They are also visiting shut ins. Next week we will be hosting a team from Lebanon Presbyterian Church in West Mifflin PA. They will be constructing a spare room for Edith, one of our helpers at Bethel.
Please be praying for Alex "Nene" our downs syndrome boy from Oasis, who has been diagnosed with TB. He is out of immediate danger and in treatment. All the members of Oasis have been tested and none have the disease. The treatment lasts for 6 months and he will be in partial isolation at the home and will have to use a mask when he goes out.
Please also pray for me as I continue in therapy for my injured leg. It is getting better but very slowly.
We pray you have a blessed Thanksgiving. It is not celebrated here in Mexico so it will be a normal day for us, we hope you remember us in your prayers. Monday they will be celebrating revolution day here, so the kids will have that day off.
Let us know what you think of the new site, we hope to hear from you. Tell your friends and family and help us help the people of San Luis.
PRAY FOR NENE AS HE GOES THROUGH TREATMENT FOR TB. BY FAITH WE HAVE PAID OVER 1850 DOLLARS FOR HIS DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT, WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH THIS. PLEASE DROP US A LINE IF YOU LOVE NENE AND WANT TO HELP US WITH HIS MEDICAL TREATMENT.
