Clean Water Program

THE NEED
Imagine spending your day under the blazing sun, searching through piles of rotting trash, hoping to find something you can sell just to survive. For many families in San Luis, this is everyday life. Despite working tirelessly, many still live in extreme poverty, and some have built makeshift homes from materials found at the dump. Without access to clean drinking water, many were forced to drink from the contaminated canal that runs through the dump.
Bringing Living Water
Following the call of Matthew 25:35, "For I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink," Caring Hearts Ministry established a daily watering station at the dump to provide clean water and ice to those living and working there. What may seem simple is lifesaving to many, meeting a critical physical need while demonstrating that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten.
Help Sustain This Ministry

$1,000 provides clean water for an entire year for those living and working at the dump.
This ministry is lifesaving for many who once had no choice but to drink from the contaminated canal that runs through the dump. Every donation helps keep the watering station running, providing safe drinking water and ice while reminding every person we serve that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.
