REFLECT, SHARE & CELEBRATE
Keep Your Experience Going
If you recently returned from a trip, take time to reflect on what you saw, what you learned, and how God worked through the experience. Gathering with your team can be a meaningful way to process what you experienced and encourage one another.
Gather within the first month to:

Reflect and debrief as a team. Talk about what you saw, what you learned, and how the experience changed or challenged you.

Share your story with your church, small group, friends, or family. If you are part of a church group, ask your pastor or church leader about sharing during a service, class, or small group.

Thank those who helped make your trip possible and share how their prayers and generosity made an impact.

Celebrate together with a simple meal or gathering. Invite those who went, those who supported the trip, and anyone who may want to learn more.

With your pastor or leader’s permission, share about Caring Hearts with others who may want to get involved. Provide information for those who would like to give, pray, or stay connected.
SERVE WHERE YOU ARE
Put Your Faith Into Action
You don't have to travel to make a difference. Look for opportunities to serve right where God has placed you. Volunteer through your church or community, encourage someone who is hurting, meet a practical need, or simply look for ways to love and serve the people around you.

Keep the Connection Going
A few months after your trip, consider gathering your team again. A reunion is a great opportunity to reconnect, enjoy some snacks and refreshments, look through photos and videos, hear the latest updates from San Luis, and celebrate what God has done since your trip.
Consider gathering 4–6 months after your trip to:

Share photos and memories from your experience.

Catch up on the latest updates from San Luis.

Continue supporting Caring Hearts through prayer, giving, or other opportunities to serve.

Encourage one another to keep serving and growing in your faith.

Invite someone new to learn about Caring Hearts and get involved.

Talk about whether another mission trip might be your next step.

Make plans together if another trip is on the horizon.
The relationships you built during your trip don't have to end when you return home. Look for ways to stay in touch with the people you met through letters, messages, or social media, and continue encouraging one another.
HOST A TRIP
Bring Others Along
If your experience inspired you to help others serve, consider hosting a mission trip for your church, school, or group. Bring others into the experience, invite someone new to join you, and give them an opportunity to put their faith into action.
