Blind Center

Isaiah 42:16

And I will lead the blind in a way that they do not know, in paths that they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I do, and I do not forsake them.

Restoring Hope

The Blind Center offers hope, love, purpose, community, education, and practical skills, empowering individuals to live independently while discovering the life God has for them.

Restoring Lives

In Mexico, diabetes is one of the most common health issues. Without access to proper medical care and insulin, many people lose their sight. In San Luis, countless individuals have been left blind without the resources, support, or opportunities needed to live independently, often feeling isolated and hopeless.

The Blind Center exists to restore hope and dignity. About 30 people gather regularly to learn about Jesus, encourage one another, and develop practical skills that create opportunities for independence. They make jewelry and handcrafted items, provide massage therapy, and have even launched a baking business. Through these opportunities, they discover purpose, confidence, and hope in Christ.

Called by God

The Shine a Light in Your Life Center for the Blind began in 2012 when Linvania Reyes, who lost her sight due to diabetes, heard God clearly tell her to “find others” like her and to “help them.”

That calling continues today as the Blind Center brings hope, community, practical skills, and the love of Christ to those who once felt forgotten. Your support helps individuals who have lost their sight discover purpose, build independence, and know they are not alone.
