Eduardo is one of our newest additions to the Oasis Home. He has been placed in our care due to family issues. His mother is addicted to drugs and his father is missing. As a result, the 3 kids had been left to fend for themselves. His 14-year-old sister is pregnant, still living at home, and his 5-year-old brother has been surrendered to an orphanage. Despite the trials he has endured at such a young age, Eduardo is a happy, confident and affectionate child. He loves meeting new people and seems to be quite trusting of most. We pray that during his time at Oasis, he will give his heart to Jesus and will learn to place his trust in Jesus, and that he will begin to walk on the path of his God-given destiny. We are thankful for the opportunity to help Eduardo write a different story than the one that has framed the beginning years of his life; a story of love, forgiveness, purpose and hope!
