Medical Missions

Medical Missions

All of the ministries in San Luis were born from an immediate need, and the Medical Ministry is no different. With a lack of resources in the area, many of the members of the community of San Luis have gone much, if not all, of their lives without any medical care. As this developing community continues to grow, Caring Hearts is able to provide services to regions further and further away from the city. Services include diabetes education and diagnosis, treating of hypertension, asthma,  GERD, wounds, medication teaching, and pediatric care. In addition this year we will be adding health teaching videos in the hopes of further assisting the community. For more information about attending our medical trip, please send us some of your basic information by clicking here.

Vitamin Donation Program

If you are unable to attend the Medical Mission Trip this year, there is still a great way for you to contribute to the trip. One of the biggest obstacles facing the poor of San Luis is nutrition. And poor nutrition can have a huge impact on the growth and  development of children. We would love to be able to provide multi-vitamins to everyone who comes in for a checkup during the Medical trip, but we need your help.

We will be collecting solid (non-gummy, so they don’t melt) vitamins through September 1, 2016. If you wish to contribute, please mail them to Caring Hearts Ministry at:
PO Box 990
PMB 863
San Luis, AZ, 85349

Please also email a list of the items to Sherry at rfamily0917@verizon.net  so we can complete the necessary paperwork.

There are some other household health items that we’ll need, so feel free to contact Sherry with any questions.
