Sergio Roberto, cousin to Marlon, comes to Oasis after living in other orphanages since the age of 5. Sadly, he didn't receive the level of education he should have during his time in these other orphanages. He has only an elementary education but is currently enrolled in a new program to be evaluated and assisted in his education. We pray that God will use this opportunity to make up for the time lost. Roberto is quiet until you put a guitar in his hands and ask him to sing. We're prayerful that in time, the songs he sings will be full of praise and worship to God. He also loves to practice his English, so when you visit, be sure to practice with him. We pray Sergio will grow to love God and allow himself to be loved by God! That he would develop a solid relationship with his Heavenly father and allow God to heal his past hurts and brokenness.
