Hector and Areseli are the parents to Lupita, Ashley, Gimena and Gustavo. Gustavo has hemophelia, meaning his blood cannot clot. The father, Hector, works at a local grocery store, which pays very low, but offers health insurance to help them be able to afford his medicine. Sometimes the children work by taking care of animals or finding things to sell.

Esperaza is a widow and a mother of two children, Martin and Carla. Esperaza has cancer and was also hit by a car. Because of this she has had to stop chemo and continues to need many surgeries to try and fix her leg. Her son Martin is suffering from a thyroid disease and Carla has three kids, Jasmine, Luis, and Hannah. This sweet family lives in a one bedroom house that a friend is letting them stay in as Esperanza needs a clean place to live so her leg doesn't get infected. Caring Hearts currently helps by paying for their gas and we give them food each month. We also take Esperanza to the doctor in a nearby city every 15 days.

Yadira and her family have had a very challenging past. Yadira was in an accident 9 years ago and can no longer get out of bed because she is paralyzed from the chest down. She deals with extreme bed sores. She is the mother of three children and a grandmother of one. Her daughter Melodie was kidnapped at 13 years old and now is 15 years old with a young daughter of her own.

His wife, Rosalva, works at the Oasis Boys Home as a cook and takes care of her husband. Their son, Jesus, and his two daughters, Claudia and Esmerelda, live with them. Her son struggles with addiction and his wife left, so Rosalva primarily takes care of her two granddaughters. Claudia attends ninth grade and wants to one day become an accountant. Esmerelda has such a light of hope inside of her making friends with everyone who meets her. Rosalva has some health issues of her own and takes medicine for her heart. Caring Hearts provides assistance by paying for their gas and medicine. We are looking to help this family finish their home as well with a work project from a team.

Yoselin and Fernando live with their eight older siblings who are still living in the house. Their mother passed away seven years ago from cancer with no father in the picture. Some of the older brothers work in construction and the onion fields for income but they are in extreme poverty. All 11 children are living under the same roof, in two rooms. He helps his mother make piñatas to sell. This beautiful family lives in a very tiny home and they share one bed. We help this family with gas and food.

Jose became paralyzed from the waist down 13 years ago and suffers from epilepsy. He is also starting to lose function in his hands from arthritis but exercises them every day in attempts to keep his strength. His wife left him, so Paulina, the oldest daughter living in the house takes care of her father. Paulina was going to school for nursing, but she had to quit so she could take care of her father. She would like to go back to school one day. Alessia, the next oldest daughter living in the home also takes care of her father whenever she can, and she hopes to become a police officer. Jose is a wonderful and loving father who wants nothing more than to be able to care for and protect his daughters. His biggest hope for his daughters is that the Lord provides his daughters good husbands and for them to be happy. Prayer requests: that the Lord will heal him, so he can take care of his daughters because he knows the Lord can do so.

Santiago, Alessia, Alejandro, Marianna, and Ramon. Alejandro was born with severe disabilities. He is unable to walk, talk, or move. He wears diapers and is bedridden all day. Alejandro's sister and brother, Marianna and Ramon, stay home from school to take care of their older brother and father who recently had a stroke. They stay home so their mother can go work on the onion fields. Marianna, who recently had a baby, dreams of becoming a veterinarian and Ramon wants to become a doctor and help others like his brother. Brenda is 34 and was born with disabilities. She cannot walk, is in a wheelchair, wears diapers and cannot take care of herself. She needs help bathing, getting dressed, and moving. Her mother, Josephine, is 72 and is the one who takes care of Brenda and her brother Estabon. Estabon is 33 and he is struggling with addiction. Brenda can't do very much, but she loves when she gets to go to church and sing praises for the Lord. She has a sweet soul.

Ruby no longer goes to school because she is responsible for taking care of her duties at home and taking care of her younger siblings. Caring Hearts has helped by fixing their house that burned down and pays their gas and medical bills.

Fredrico struggled with cancer in his face for many years. In October 2019, he passed away leaving his wife to take care of 6 grandkids. In 2019, a team came to build the family an addition to their house. They are working hard and know Frederico is in a better place.
