Italy is a ray of sunshine! Despite the fact that she is disabled due to her spinal problems, she is rarely seen without a big smile on her face. She lives with her mom in a very tiny shack, which is difficult to navigate with her wheelchair. For year, CHM has supported her and her mom by taking Italy to Tijuana for necessary orthopedic treatments. We are celebrating the fact that Italy was approved for a life-changing surgery via Shriner's Hospital in Sacramento. We appreciate your extra support as Italy and her mom push through the struggles of surgery, being in a new country, and the fight of recovery.
